Jamie GaskinsManaging Director
Jamie originally qualified in sound and video technology and started working in the events industry as a technician. After developing a loyal customer base of high-end clients across the globe, with companies like Microsoft and General Motors relying on his expertise in design and installation, he set up his own audio-visual consultancy in 2006. He spent the next few years working across Europe and The Middle East before joining Matrix UK Solutions in 2010. At Matrix, Jamie’s skills in electrical engineering, CAD drawing, production management, sound, lighting and video have been instrumental in his roles as both technical director on international events and as company MD. Jamie maintains a very hands-on approach with a particular focus on technical design and client management.
Ben O’SheaProject Director
Ben started in the industry in 2001 and has experience across music events and touring, conferences, product launches and fashion shows. He is an accomplished production lead with extensive experience on major events, including production managing a two-day residency at The Roundhouse in Camden as a closing party for London 2012 and producing a full runway show and atelier for TOM FORD at Milk Studios in Los Angeles two days before the Oscars. After multiple years spent delivering on behalf of brands, sponsors and stakeholders, Ben is passionate about client communication and delivery and has the experience and skills to balance client expectations and event strategy. Ben leads the project delivery team at Matrix, providing advice and guidance to the project managers on his team.
Emma BudgenAccount Manager
Having previously worked in the live entertainment sector overseas, Emma is a true all-rounder who works with clients from brief to delivery. As well as introducing the group services to new and potential clients, Emma has key responsibility for crewing, logistics, transport and venue liaison. She supports both the project and technical teams on delivery and in the creation of crew schedules and briefing documents. Emma is responsible for booking the best crew and making sure they’re in the right place at the right time.
Martin CaultonSenior Project Manager
Martin started working in the events industry over 20 years ago and has experience across live music events, touring, conferences, film work and fashion shows. He has managed engaging events for audiences from 10 – 20,000 people with recent projects including a series of international events for the financial sector, the online launch of a new streaming platform and Goodwood Festival of Speed.
